Sunday, September 11, 2011:
What a perfect day for a race! With rennovations to the Falmouth
althetic fields finally complete, the finish returned to the
quarter-mile track. More than 160 competitors crossed the finish
line, and many more registered to support DCCF and the young Mainers it
funds. hanks to a sponsorship from
Don Foshay's Discount Tire and
Alignment, top finishers earned cash prizes of up to $100.
Congratulations to Chris Harmon of Scarborough, who took first place in
the men's division with a time of 15:43; and to Andres Newton of
Portland, who took first place in the women's division with a time of
19:31.
Our continued thanks to the Woodlands Homeowner
Association and the Town of Falmouth, without whom this event would not
be possible.
